Why Learn With Us?

At Passion2Plant, we believe ministry must evolve to meet the needs of today’s world and we’ve been faithfully exploring new ways to do that from the beginning.

Our founder, Rev. Dr. Liz Rios, has spent decades in ministry, working with youth, leading urban churches, mentoring women in leadership, and navigating the challenges of church operations. Along the way, she’s often stepped into uncharted territory, not for the sake of being different, but because the Spirit was calling her to respond to real needs in real time.

Whether it was launching new ministry models in NYC or now equipping digital preachers and justice-rooted planters, Passion2Plant has always been about meeting people where they are and preparing leaders for what’s next. We’re not interested in just sharing information; we’re invested in participant transformation.

One of the things that sets our program apart is the intentional selection of faculty. Dr. Liz curates a team of educators who are not only excellent teachers but also respected scholars and seasoned practitioners. Most of our faculty are BIPOC because we believe that those who have long led from the margins bring wisdom, resilience, and clarity that the Church desperately needs. We also welcome proven allies, leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to equity, justice, and the flourishing of all people.

If you're looking for a place to grow, experiment, and lead with integrity and imagination, we’d be honored to walk alongside you.
