Partners in Credentialing Ministers

Choosing Your Ministry Credentials: Why Affiliation Matters

If you’ve come through a Passion2Plant cohort, you already know, we don’t just teach you how to plant or lead justice-oriented churches . We help you unlearn empire, build trauma-informed ministries, and embrace the sacred call to do this work in community. That’s why, when it comes to ministerial credentials, we want you to know that who you affiliate with matters.

In today’s world, organizational affiliations often speak louder than our voices. Before you ever walk into a room, the group that credentialed you may already be making a statement about what you believe, what you support, and whose side you're on. Are they known for love or for exclusion? For justice or for silence in the face of injustice? Are they lifting the oppressed, or aligning with power at the expense of the vulnerable?

If you represent Jesus, the Jesus who flipped tables, broke barriers, and stood with the marginalized, then your affiliation should reflect that.

This is why Passion2Plant offers you options.
We are in relationship with a variety of credentialing organizations that align with the values we teach: justice, equity, love, and liberation. These are not random names on a list. They are partners we trust. They’re organizations you can call when you’re discouraged or stuck. You should never have to do ministry alone, and you don’t have to.

So if you’re discerning your next step and thinking about getting licensed, ordained, or affirmed in your call, take the time to ask:
Does this organization reflect the kind of faith I want to lead with?

Let us help you find a credentialing path that honors both your call and your convictions.

Everyone Isn’t the Same. So We Provide Options.
