Andrea serves as a part-time Cohort Liaison Intern through a grant funded by the Lily Endowment for women who are discerning ministerial leadership under the Black Women in Ministry REAL THRIVE Initiative (R.E.A.L. stands for Relationship building, Equipping and Expanding, Access and Leadership and legacy Development). It is part of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Thriving in Ministry, an initiative that supports a variety of religious organizations across the nation as they create or strengthen programs that help pastors build relationships with experienced clergy who can serve as mentors and guide them through key leadership challenges in congregational ministry.
She also currently serves at City to City NYC as Manager of the NYC Programs leading the Incubator Collective and Fellows church planting programs throughout the different boroughs. She strategically builds and implements these unique training spaces that serve ministry leaders throughout the city. She also manages the Marketing and Communications for the New York City team. A New York City native, born and raised on the Lower East Side, Andrea is currently apart of a flourishing new church plant in Harlem and a seminary student at Fuller Theological Seminary. Andrea lives in the Bronx and enjoys gathering and hosting friends and family, exploring the city, and traveling.
